Are the vinyl records new or used?+−
We sell both new and used vinyl records through our online store.
What do the grading terms (M, NM, VG+ and VG) mean?+−
Vinyl records are graded according to internationally recognized standards to help you understand their condition before purchasing. Here's what each grade means:
- Mint (M): A perfect, brand-new record in flawless condition. It has never been played and shows absolutely no signs of wear. Mint records are extremely rare, especially for older releases.
- Near Mint (NM): The record has been played very little, if at all, and shows virtually no signs of wear. Playback quality is excellent.
- Very Good Plus (VG+): A well-cared-for record with only minor signs of use, such as light surface marks or slight sleeve wear. It plays very well with minimal background noise.
- Very Good (VG): The record shows noticeable signs of use, including surface marks and light wear. It may have occasional surface noise or clicks, but playback remains enjoyable without skipping.
Is the record sleeve also graded?+−
Unless otherwise stated, the record and its sleeve are graded as being in the same condition.
Are the records tested before they are sold?+−
Almost all of our vinyl records are tested before being offered for sale.
Can a record have light scratches without affecting playback?+−
Yes. It depends on the condition of the record. Light surface marks or hairline scratches do not always affect playback quality.
Are the photos on the website of the actual record being sold?+−
Yes.
Are all records original pressings, or do you also sell reissues?+−
We sell both original pressings and reissues.
How do I know which pressing I’m buying?+−

Do colored vinyl records have the same sound quality as black vinyl?+−
